At school we had "My World" software and that damn puzzle about getting a farmer and his goat, wolf and lettuce across a river.
We played a game called Word Rescue, and wrote stories in Wordpad and printed them out. It reminds me of my dad's computer that I used to play on all the time, and the ones we had at primary school in the 90s. It was a graphics course so we had iMacs everywhere else, the "portable" ones with the coloured plastic panels on the side. I remember because that was the year that I was at the old building in college and they had a couple in the basement, with Windows 95 on them, and they were so ridiculously buggy and crashed all the time.
